AI, automation, and data-driven systems are reshaping logistics, transport, and warehousing at high speed. Yet in environments where operational pressure is constant, disruptions are frequent, and teams must coordinate across multiple partners and time zones, one leadership capability is becoming indispensable: Emotional Intelligence (EI). Far from being a soft skill, EI is now a core driver of operational clarity, team resilience, and decision-making quality.

This conference explores how supply chain leaders can use EI to strengthen the leadership skills that matter most in logistics and warehousing: managing stress under pressure, communicating with precision during disruptions, building trust across diverse teams, and guiding people through digital transformation. We will show how EI enhances leaders’ ability to anticipate tensions, defuse conflicts, and maintain performance during crises such as transport delays, warehouse incidents, or supplier breakdowns.

A concrete cultural‑change case from a leading aeronautical company will illustrate how integrating EI at every organizational level transformed leadership behaviors, improved cross-functional collaboration, and accelerated the adoption of advanced digital tools. This real-world example demonstrates how EI becomes a strategic asset for leaders navigating complex, high‑stakes operational environments.

By connecting human intelligence with artificial intelligence, this session reveals how emotionally intelligent leadership enables logistics organizations to become more agile, more innovative, and better equipped to thrive in the age of AI.
